All wood that has been used for construction here comes from the Bavarian Forest. The different wood types form a bouquet of wonderful scents. All woods are untreated. The Solnhofen natural stone in the bath rooms is neither sealed nor polished, producing a fascinating and relaxing scent when wet.
All of this has been produced by a network of regional operations including the Schreinerei Hafner, Handweberei Moser, Glashütte Eisch, Glasfachschule Zwiesel and many others. The linen fabric has been hand-woven by our ancestors
We have designed the Pausnhof as a 4-star hotel while pacing the greatest value on expressing our philosophy of life and work visually as well. It should take its effect on our guests accordingly as well. Each of our rooms is a masterwork of both art and nature as well. They are rooms to live and be comfortable in. This can also be felt clearly at night, when cuddling with our organic down comforters.

We have always wanted to preserve the atmosphere of the whole, the room that was given its organic interior by the design of its furnishings. He knew how to understand our guests' nature and is still refining their lifestyle during their stay here to this day.

The Pausnhof was designed by a genius and good friend: Interior designer, carpenter and artist Franz Hafner. We not only found a great designer in him, but also a good friend. It was a good feeling to work with him and to be able to rely on his work 100 %.
The Biohotel Pausnhof was his last great work.
